Mazie is operated by Thoth Dev LLC, Evansville, Indiana ("we", "us").
Mazie is a private, invitation-only text assistant for families. Everyone in a family texts one Mazie number, and Mazie helps them keep track of plans, reminders, and shared details, pass messages along, and check in. This policy explains what information we handle and how.
Mazie does not ask why a family is using it, and does not collect or store information about anyone's health conditions, diagnoses, or treatment. Our setup form and Mazie's messages ask only what you'd like Mazie to do. There's no need to share medical or health details with Mazie, and we ask families not to.
While you fill in the setup form, your answers are saved only in your own browser until you submit them.
Only to run Mazie for your family: to pass messages around the family thread, send the check-ins and reminders your family asked for, remember what the family has told Mazie so it can be helpful, and manage your subscription. We do not use your information for advertising or marketing.
We do not sell or rent your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We use a small number of service providers strictly to run Mazie:
These providers process information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Every family has its own Mazie number. Messages and everything Mazie remembers stay within that family's thread and are never shown to another family.
People join a family thread only with their consent: the person who sets up the family adds each number after that person agrees, and each person receives a confirmation text before anything else from Mazie (how people join). Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. See our Messaging Terms.
Anyone can leave a thread by replying STOP. A family can change what Mazie remembers or how it behaves by texting Mazie, or by contacting us. To see or delete your information, email us at the address below.
We limit access to family information to what's needed to run Mazie and use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for our website and service providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Mazie is not a medical, emergency, or professional service. In an emergency, call 911.
Mazie is not directed to children.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let account holders know.
